Directives Advisory Service was created by former consultants with Salford University Business Services (SUBS) who have been working in the field for over fifteen years. SUBS was a Competent Body, approved by the UK DTI, for the purposes of the European Directive on Electromagnetic Compatibility. Whilst at SUBS and since the formation of Directives Advisory Service numerous commercial projects have been completed investigating and solving real compatibility conflicts and advising on related health issues. A number of Technical Files for LVD compliance and Technical Construction Files for EMC have also been compiled. They have been recommended to organisations requiring help with EMC issues by DTI and NRPB. Other assignments have covered Health Physics, Environmental measurements including Asbestos assessments and H&S@Work etc Act and COSHH reviews. |
