Club meetings are held at a variety of locations including NORWEB, British
Aerospace, Siemens, Hewlett Packard and Salford University, where the club is
based. Members are given the opportunity to propose subjects for future
presentations and their opinions are sought on each event. The fee rate for 2000-01 is £235.00 +vat per place; places may be occupied by anyone nominated
by the subscribing company
There are 8 or 9 meetings per year, running from September to June. Regular
meetings start at 10.00 am and finish at 1.00 pm, often followed by a buffet
lunch. There are usually two speakers on Technical or Management aspects of the
directives, and hard copy of the presentations are given to members who can
build up a useful data base in this way. There is an opportunity to ask
questions after each presentation, plus a general club discussion in which
members can raise their individual problems on any related subject.
The meetings are attended by EMC NAMAS Test Houses; Competent Bodies;
Consultants and Product Suppliers, so the highest level of expertise is
available. |
